So Jack jobbed a S/O crowd Saturday night at Radio City. He played for 45-ish minutes, gave a parting shot of, "Jesus Christ, is this an NPR convention? Did you get your popcorn yet? Has the movie started?" and soon left the stage. Folks at the show were pissed once they realized the show was over. Returning merchandise and texting, tweeting & interviewing in flame. Good thing they didn't tear the old building down. Some said he didn't like the sound. (Really?)

NY Observer's take ~>

Trouble was for Jack that many outlets (around 100) picked this up and most painted with a broad diva brush. Rightly so imo. And he had a return engagement for the next evening, which he did giving a speed metal polish to almost every song except the last, Goodnight Irene.

I was hoping for some vids from the week-end (especially Sunday) but they are all not acceptable. Here is one from happier times. From Webster Hall in NYC.

Guess you're not alone in his admiration society... I don't get it yet. Don't know if you saw this today:;_r=0
